Paying the wrong meter is expensive and slow to unwind. So before a naira moves, we ask the distribution company whose meter that number belongs to, and show you the name that comes back.

Your disco and meter type
Pick the distribution company, say whether the meter is prepaid or postpaid, and enter the number.

Read the name that comes back
We ask the operator who owns that meter and show you. If it is not the right name, nothing has been paid.

Pay, and take the token
For prepaid meters the token appears on the receipt the moment the operator issues it, and stays there.
Tokens do not get lost
They live on the transaction, not in a text message you have to go hunting for. Open the receipt; it is there.
Undelivered means refunded
If the disco cannot deliver, the amount comes back rather than sitting in limbo.
